Super great show, the crowd was was really awesome especially in terms of looking out for each other when things got rowdy. And I only got my glasses knocked off my face by a crowdsurfers butt once! It’s been a while since I’ve immediately wanted to relive a show but I would do this again given night. A couple bouts of multisecond unbroken eye-contact from Anthony Raneri didn’t hurt, I’m a sucker for feeling like I exist.

Pictures could have been better if I’d brought a different lens but I opted for portability over quality, and unfortunately the autofocus mechanism in my new camera is too high tech for the lens I was using, it would seem, and it’s hard to manual focus during a show when you’re packed in like loosely packed but grumpy sardines (well, I wasn’t grumpy, but the girl in front of me was because if I so much as lightly brushed her should she turned around with a stink eye).
